What's new in version 1.0.1
The major improvements in this version are in the area of usability:
| |

Simplified installation process - the plug-in now comes as a single binary which means that important elements cannot be inadvertently lost or misplaced. You can install it by manually copying to an appropriate folder (see the Installation Notes for more information).
| |

Environmentally friendly - Cortona was tested on Mac OS X 10.1.5 with the following browsers: Internet Explorer 5.2 (4609), iCab 2.8.1, Mozilla 1.0.0, Safari 1.0 Beta (v51), OmniWeb 4.1 (v422), and Opera 5.0.498. However, performance levels vary. While it's quite poor in Opera it is surprisingly good in OmniWeb. And while the plug-in was not verified for compatibility with Jaguar, it should work.
| |

The MIME types that Cortona handles are correctly recognized by Internet Explorer but without manual intervention.
| |

The rendering area is now correctly clipped and does not interfere with the browser's graphical elements.
