Internet Model Optimizer
Optimize complex 3D CAD models for the Internet !

Internet Model Optimizer

IMO is a next generation tool that provides an efficient way to optimize complex 3D models, which originate from CAD/CAM/CAE systems and other sources, for use on the Internet.

Many companies have large libraries of CAD models but have until now been unable to use this valuable resource on the Internet. IMO allows users to dramatically accelerate the rendering of these models by polygonal simplification and offers a wide range of optimization modes - from batch processing to manual mode - plus the ability to optimize selected parts of the model only.

Key features

Highly complex optimization algorithms designed to maintain the visual aspects of the original object

Advanced visual support - all manipulations with optimization parameters are dynamically displayed in the 3D window

Batch and manual optimization for choice

Ability to optimize separate parts and shapes of the model

Ability to edit the models: vertex, edges or shapes editing modes are available

Ability to publish the models on the Web

Benefits

Prepare real-time presentations of CAD/CAM/CAE models without having to program

Get the optimal balance between the rendering speed and representation quality

IMO runs on a PC, there is no need to invest in additional high-end work stations

Version 1.5. What's new!

Import of the transformation hierarchy of the model

Support for instantiation

Support for inlining

The ability to edit and preview materials

Applications

Represent your projects and products to remote customers all over the world and get their feedback

Bring your training programs up to date and create Virtual Manuals for personnel anywhere in the world
