Internet Scene Assembler (ISA) allows you to create interactive and dynamic 3D applications by reusing existing 3D models that have originated from CAD and other modeling software that support the export to the VRML format.
3D scenes created with ISA can be published on the Web or integrated into a standalone application written in C/C++, Visual Basic, Delphi, or any third party application supporting ActiveX (like MS PowerPoint), or a database.
Assembling a scene
Assemble a scene from your own 3D objects or choose objects from the ISA galleries.
You also can import a complex scene while retaining its hierarchy. All objects in the scene will be accessible in ISA.
ISA also allows you to examine and edit the scene in the 3D view or in the appropriate 2D projections.
Object Galleries
The ISA object galleries contain a range of static and animated 3D objects - figurines, furniture and plants, as well as system and logical objects. System objects allow you to place lights and viewpoints in the scene, add sounds and texts to the objects, etc. while logical objects allow you to perform logical operations with the incoming/outgoing events to specify the behavior of objects.
Object properties
Each object in the scene can be endowed with a wide range of abilities (such as movable, hidable, highlighted, etc.), which allow you to create complex object behavior. A complete list of the object properties is available for visual editing in the Properties window.
Animation
With ISA Keyframe Animator you can easily and quickly animate object position, orientation, size, colors, transparency, intensity, and textures. All manipulations with the animation parameters are clearly displayed in the Animator window.
Interactivity
Specify how the objects should react to the events in the scene and to user actions. All the relationships between various events can be established using the visual Routing Diagram.
Reusable object
You can significantly reduce the time for creating 3D simulations that involve regularly used components by preparing a customized gallery of reusable ISA objects. Once defined these object properties then can be easily adapted for use in the various parts of a 3D scene.
Guided tours
Implement the guided tours and customized navigation menus to provide the user with a more intuitive way of understanding complex 3D projects.
